Luka Jurković
Luka Jurković is an assistant and a doctoral student at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, where he received his master's degree in 2019. He is currently a teaching assistant on several courses in classical social theory, as well as statistics and research methodology in the social sciences. Since June 2020 he is a member of the Croatian national team of the European Social Survey (ESS) where he is responsible for preparing the national questionnaire and sample design, as well as conducting data collection and data processing. Prior to joining Croatia's national ESS ERIC team, he worked as a research assistant for a market research company, where he was responsible for the setup, preparation, and implementation of market and public opinion research projects. In his brief time as an assistant at the Department of Sociology, he has published four papers in peer-reviewed academic journals and has participated in several national and international academic conferences. His major research interests include sociology of health, work-life balance, sociology of sexuality, and quantitative research methodology.
