Shangyun Shen

Shangyun Shen works as a research specialist and communications manager at the secretariat of the JPI CH (European Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage) in the Fondation des sciences du patrimoin, France. He is responsible for the administration of the initiative’s online platform Heritage Research Hub and the social media linked to it. He also assists the preparation and launching of the transnational calls funded by the JPI CH.

Shangyun holds a joint master’s degree on Sustainable Heritage Management from the KU Leuven, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and the Padua University. He also has a second master’s degree in Cultural and Religious Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has worked on several online publications focusing on the ICH of Egyptian Copts.
