Alica Kolarić

Alica Kolarić is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences at the University of Zadar, Croatia, where she received her PhD in Information Sciences in 2020. Her research interests centre on human information needs, information behaviour, information literacy, and library services for diverse user groups, with a particular focus on qualitative research methodologies. Actively involved in several research projects, she is also a prominent member of the professional community. Within the Croatian Library Association, she serves as an associate member of the Reading Committee and previously chaired the Children and Young Adults Library Services Committee from 2018 to 2020. Globally, she is a member of the Standing Committee of the IFLA Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section. Additionally, she contributes to the field as a member of the Editorial Board for “Vjesnik bibliotekara Hrvatske” (Croatian Librarians' Journal).
