Boris Koroman

Boris Koroman is an Assistant Professor at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula - Faculty of Humanities. He is a member of the Department of Croatian Studies and the Centre for Cultural and Historical Research of Socialism (CKPIS). As a literary historian with a background in cultural studies, his research interests include the diverse possibilities of the various articulations and “uses” of literature, ranging from literature written by workers in the socialist period to modern and contemporary Croatian fiction and its representation of social context, the transformation of the “field of literature” in the 21st century, and the place of culture and literature in the information age. He is the author of the study Contemporary Croatian Prose and Transition (2018).
