Borna Petrović

Borna Petrović holds an MA in Information Science and an MA in English Language and Literature Education. He is a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia. His research interests include knowledge organisation, subject indexing, controlled vocabularies, and classification. As a member of the Centre for Research of Cultural Identity and Regional Heritage, he actively participates in the institutional Croatian Proverbs Portal project and in the project “The Language of Desire in Literature and Culture” (581-UNIOS-60), funded through Croatia's National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026. He is a full member of the Croatian Library Association and the Library Association of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, and is the author of around ten scholarly publications and numerous professional translations in the field of information science.
