Emiliano Degl’Innocenti

Emiliano Degl’Innocenti is a researcher at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and National Coordinator of DARIAH-IT. He received his Laurea in Philosophy from the University of Florence in 2002 and his PhD in History of Philosophy from the same university in 2006. His research focuses on digital humanities and, in particular, on the design and development of digital research infrastructures for the humanities. He has designed and led numerous digital humanities projects and has authored many scholarly articles, more than 100 book reviews, and several edited volumes. He has presented his research at more than 50 international conferences and has held various academic and research positions, including Acting Head of the Digital Humanities Labs at the Società Internazionale per lo Studio del Medioevo Latino. He has also taught digital humanities at several universities and collaborated with leading research institutions worldwide. He served as Scientific Coordinator of H2IOSC, a project funded under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
