Georg Vogeler

Georg Vogeler is a full professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Graz. He works in the fields of Historical Auxiliary Sciences and Digital Humanities. He has spent his academic career in Munich, Lecce and Graz. In DH, his areas of expertise include digital scholarly editing, digital diplomatics, NLP and generative AI in historical research, and the application of semantic web technologies in the Humanities. Among his many projects, he is leading the DHInfra.at project and the ERC Advanced Grant project “From Digital to Distant Diplomatics” (https://didip.eu).
