Jan Marko Jukić

Jan Marko Jukić holds a master’s degree in Japanese Studies from the Faculty of Humanities, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. During his studies, he published a research paper on a corpus-based analysis of expressions of gratitude in Japanese at the international CASTEL-J conference, which focuses on computer-assisted systems for teaching and learning Japanese. He also completed a period of academic training at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. In addition to his knowledge of Japanese, he has completed an introductory course in cybersecurity and is developing advanced programming skills for the creation of interactive tools for Japanese-language learning. His interests include corpus-based research, computer-assisted language learning, gamification, and the development of digital resources for learners of Japanese, especially Croatian-speaking learners.
