Janko Žufić

Janko Žufić graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Zagreb. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education and eight years of work in the private sector and schools, he has developed a unique combination of academic, technical, and creative expertise. He has led more than 80 professional projects in the fields of information technology and health and social services, participated in around ten university research projects, published three books and approximately twenty scientific papers. He has supervised around fifteen undergraduate and graduate theses and is the author of two documentary films as well as mentor-producer of around fifty student short films. Within the interdisciplinary ISTRAMUZA project, he has a dual role. As a specialist in the digitalisation of musical sources, he is responsible for the technical process of converting archival materials into sustainable long-term digital formats. At the same time, drawing on his extensive multimedia experience, he oversees the directing and post-production of animated videos, connecting cultural heritage digitisation with innovative educational approaches and contemporary audiovisual media.
