Kristina Feldvari

Kristina Feldvari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia. Her research interests include knowledge organisation, information retrieval, information behaviour and information seeking, subject indexing, and controlled vocabularies for information retrieval. She participated in the research project “Evaluation of Library Services: Public and Academic Libraries” and the Erasmus+ project “Digital Education for Crisis Situations: Times When There Is No Alternative (DECriS)”. From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the Standing Committee for the Development and Maintenance of the Rules for Description and Access to Library, Archival and Museum Materials, the Working Group for the Education and Implementation of the Rules, and the Working Group for Coordinating the Testing of the Rules. She is a member of the Council of the Croatian Open Science Cloud Initiative and of the Working Group for Defining the Structure and Principles of the Croatian Open Science Cloud (HR-OOSC). She is the principal investigator of the Croatian Proverbs Portal project and the head of the Centre for Research of Cultural Identity and Regional Heritage.
