Magdalena Metikos

Magdalena Metikos completed her undergraduate studies in Early Childhood Education in 2016, subsequently beginning her professional career as an early childhood educator. In 2023, she obtained a master's degree in Early Childhood Education and, that same year, enrolled in the doctoral programme "New Paradigms of Education" at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. She has worked continuously in the early childhood education sector since 2016 and is currently employed at the Medulin Kindergarten. She participates in domestic and international scientific conferences and has authored or co-authored professional and scientific papers in the field of early childhood education. Her areas of professional and scientific interest include early childhood education, inclusive pedagogy, children's literature and picture books, child development, creative and inquiry-based approaches to learning, and contemporary educational practices. Her doctoral research focuses on the role of picture books in fostering an inclusive culture within early childhood education institutions.
