Mia Rovis

Mia Rovis, univ. mag. inf., is a Professional Associate at the Faculty of Informatics, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. Her main interests include User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX) and web development. At the University, her work focuses on applied artificial intelligence, particularly the development and evaluation of large language model (LLM) applications, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context-aware recommender systems, and AI-powered educational technologies. She is involved in research on knowledge retrieval, recommendation systems and the practical application of generative AI, contributing to several scientific publications in these areas. In addition to her research activities, she has experience in frontend and full-stack web development, having worked on the design and implementation of web applications and interactive user interfaces. Her technical expertise includes web development, UI/UX prototyping, application development, prompt engineering, and AI model evaluation. Through her participation in research projects and scientific conferences, she aims to bridge advances in artificial intelligence with practical software solutions and intelligent information systems, alongside web development.
