Mihaila Mihailović

Mihaila Mihailović is currently working as a teaching assistant in Japanese at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She holds a Master's degree in Japanese Myth and Tradition and a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language, Culture, and Literature from the same institution. At this time she is also a doctoral candidate and her academic interests include Japanese mythology, religion, folklore, and traditional culture.

Alongside her academic work, she has taught Japanese and Korean at secondary schools and language institutes in Serbia. She also worked as a translator of the Japanese manga One Piece for Darkwood Publishing and has served as a substitute Japanese language teacher at the Philological High School in Belgrade.

Her current research focuses on Japanese religious thought, mythology, and cultural traditions, with particular interest in their historical development and contemporary interpretations.
