Nina Stropnik

Nina Stropnik graduated in Art History from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb in 2023, and in French Language and Literature in 2024. From 2022 to 2024, she worked as a student teaching and research assistant at the Department of French Language at the same Faculty, and since 2023 she has been teaching French at a language school.

Since 2024, she has been a member of the Croatian branch of the GreC network (Réseau Grammaires et contextualisation) and has presented her research at international conferences in Paris, Ljubljana, Pula, etc. In 2025, she joined the FRACROPAR research project on contrastive and cognitive approaches to French phraseology and paremiology. She received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in French Language and Literature (2024) and the Croatian Art Historians Society Award for the best MA thesis (2024). Her research focuses on French-Croatian contrastive phraseology and paremiology, as well as language didactics.
